Producing Turkey’s first and only domestically developed contact lens solution with entirely local resources, Jeomed won the Pharmaceuticals & Health Products Manufacturer of the Year award at the Ankara Value-Added Awards (Ankara’ya Değer Katanlar Ödülleri).
Organized annually by the Ankara Journalists and Writers Association (AGYD), the awards ceremony was held on 30 March 2022 at the Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) Assembly Hall.
Hosted by former Miss Turkey Nefise Karatay and veteran TRT news anchor Zafer Kiraz, the ceremony brought together many notable figures from the media, bureaucracy, business, arts, and society.
On behalf of Jeomed, the award was received by Chairman of the Board Süleyman Polat. In his remarks of thanks, Polat noted that the country is in an economic struggle, that investment and employment are essential, and that the company is passionate and ambitious in the field of health products. He stated that Jeomed exports to 51 countries, holds all necessary international certifications, and has 14 patented products.

Under 14 patents, Jeomed exports over 100 products to 51 countries, including Greece, India, Russia, and the United States, proudly representing our country in international markets.
